Cuando te inicias en un deporte donde la técnica es un factor determinante, cobra gran importancia el feedback que te puedan dar de tu ejecución.

Si tienes la suerte de poder contar con un profesional que esté pendiente de lo que haces y de cómo lo haces y que te corrija constantemente, la mejora se verá favorecida en gran medida. Sin embargo, si eres más “del rollo” autodidacta, probablemente te choques una y otra vez con el mismo muro.

De los deportes que entreno, tanto el ciclismo como la carrera a pie, tienen un factor técnico reducido, que no nulo, pero sin embargo, la natación tiene un gran componente técnico.

Contratar un entrenador/monitor de natación privado no está al alcance de todos los bolsillos (alrededor de 30€/hora) y acudir a un grupo de entrenamiento con la calle abarrotada, aunque es más económico, limita el proceso de aprendizaje, por la incapacidad del entrenador de dar una retroalimentación constante a sus nadadores.

Por supuesto que no pongo en duda la capacidad de estos monitores de natación (he trabajado un buen tiempo como tal) y de hecho estoy seguro que es la mejor forma de aprender a nadar o de tener un primer acercamiento a una técnica correcta.

Pertenecer a un grupo de entrenamiento tiene sus pros, pero también tiene sus contras, como puede ser la limitación de horario y espacio, disponer en tu localidad de un buen entrenador, etc.

Por todo ello son muchas las personas que acuden a la piscina a “la calle de nado libre”, con la intención de mejorar su estilo, pero en muchas ocasiones se topan con el no saber si lo que están haciendo les llevará a mejorar.

En este sentido, creo que es crucial que el deportista sea consciente de cuales son sus errores y para ello no hay nada mejor que verse a sí mismo cometiendo dichos errores.

La grabación en video y el análisis que se haga por un experto, es de gran ayuda para el nadador, que al visualizar las imágenes filmadas señalando los fallos y comparándolos con la técnica ideal, reconocerá cual es el camino a seguir para mejorar.

Si este análisis, además viene acompañado por un plan de entrenamiento personalizado, con miras a mejorar aquellos aspectos deficientes en la técnica, la autonomía que tendrá el nadador será máxima.

En ocasiones he visto gente con una técnica de patada perfecta y que sin embargo hacían largos y más largos de ejercicios encaminados a mejorar este detalle, únicamente porque seguían una rutina de ejercicios estandarizada.

Mis grabaciones en video y análisis de la técnica por ordenador incluyen:

  • Grabaciones aéreas en diferentes planos.
  • Grabaciones subacuáticas en diferentes planos.
  • Análisis de la técnica teniendo en cuenta diferentes planillas de observación.
  • Análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de la técnica de natación.

Al finalizar el estudio se entrega al cliente un archivo de video, donde queda recogido el análisis completo.

Si por la localización del deportista no me fuera posible hacer yo mismo la filmación, se dan una serie de instrucciones y consejos para que se haga él mismo dicha grabación y se envíe el archivo para el posterior análisis completo por mi parte. Con un simple móvil será suficiente para tomar las imágenes.

Por lo tanto, para optimizar tu entrenamiento, no hay nada mejor que conocer tus fallos y repetir los ejercicios que te ayuden a solventarlos.
