Siguiendo esa línea, redefino el concepto de entrenamiento como: “cualquier preparación con el propósito de mejorar el rendimiento físico, mental, moral, social, laboral, familiar…”

Cada vez que nos propongamos un objetivo, será más fácilmente alcanzable, si llevamos a cabo un proceso de entrenamiento. Por lo tanto, no debemos entender el entrenamiento únicamente en su faceta física, si no que buscaremos abarcar cada una de las áreas que así lo requieran.

Sentirse sano,  en forma, atractivo… sentirse vivo.

Afortunadamente, en los años que llevo entrenando,  me he “topado” con montones de deportistas, cada uno con sus peculiaridades, todos con un objetivo común: mejorar su rendimiento físico. Pero cada una de esas personas, con su objetivo individual: salir de una fase de estancamiento; dedicar tiempo al deporte para no dedicarlo a pensar; aprovechar el tiempo al máximo ante la llegada de un nuevo miembro a la familia; obligarse a madrugar; sentirse sano,  en forma, atractivo… sentirse vivo.

Entrenamiento:”cualquier preparación con el propósito de mejorar el rendimiento físico, mental, moral, social, laboral, familiar…” 

Entrenar, por lo tanto, no es más que prepararse para algo; algo importante. Tan importante, que seamos capaces de hipotecar gran parte de nuestro tiempo y esfuerzo para alcanzarlo. ¿No es eso lo que hacemos cuando decidimos ser padres?, ¿cuando decidimos preparar una oposición?, ¿cuando buscamos un trabajo?, ¿cuando intentamos sacar adelante un proyecto importante?, o ¿cuando intentamos que toda la familia o amigos se reunan para celebrar algún evento?

Todos los procesos más importantes de nuestra vida, requieren de una fase de entrenamiento, planificado y estructurado.

Si eres deportista, seguro que ya conocías el término clásico  de entrenamiento, pero ¿te habías parado a pensar que no sólo tú entrenas? Los que están a tu alrededor también se preparan para conseguir sus objetivos, necesitan su tiempo, requieren tu apoyo y merecen ser respetados por afrontar ese proceso con todo su esfuerzo.

Si no eres deportista, debes entender que hay gente que necesita fijarse ese objetivo (en ocasiones ligado a la competición) para sentirse vivo. Probablemente tu pareja nunca gane una carrera, quizás tampoco haga podio en su grupo de edad en el triatlón local, pero seguramente, tampoco lo necesita.

Fijarnos objetivos, prepararnos para ellos, entrenar como si fuéramos a alzarnos con la medalla de oro y sobre todo, disfrutar del camino, asumir el resultado, no conformarse y volver a empezar.
